Kyle R. Duitsman, P.E. – Vice President

Kyle received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and began his career working on projects across multiple regions before establishing his professional base in Denver in 2007.

He has more than 20 years of experience providing geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspection services for a wide range of public and private sector projects throughout the Rocky Mountain region and the western United States. His experience includes subsurface investigations, shallow and deep foundation design, construction observation, and materials testing for healthcare facilities, municipal infrastructure, transportation improvements, higher education campuses, energy developments, and commercial projects.

Mr. Duitsman provides leadership and oversight for the firm’s testing and inspection operations, with a focus on technical consistency, responsiveness, and long-term client relationships. Prior to joining Cole Garner Geotechnical, he held regional and branch leadership roles with a national engineering firm, managing multidisciplinary teams and supporting large capital improvement programs. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and regularly works with developers, contractors, and public agencies through all phases of design and construction.

Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending time attending his children’s extracurricular activities, golfing during the summer months, and snowboarding in the winter.
